Tattoos with Occult Symbols

She got the pentagram at nineteen, at the peak of her Wiccan involvement. She was thirty-four now, a committed believer for eight years. The tattoo was on her wrist, covered most days with a wide bracelet.

She had repented of Wicca thoroughly. She had been through deliverance prayer. Her life was genuinely different. But she had a persistent sense that something was still attached — a specific pattern of oppression that seemed to localize around her left hand and forearm, something that resisted the freedom she had in every other area.

Her deliverance minister asked her if there were any remaining objects or markings from her Wiccan practice that had not been addressed. She showed him the wrist. He said, "We need to pray specifically over this."

They did. The persistent pattern broke.

What It Is

Tattoos are permanent markings created by inserting ink into the skin. When those markings carry occult symbolism — pentagrams, all-seeing eyes, Baphomet imagery, astrological signs, serpents, sigils, runes, or imagery from false religious systems — they function spiritually as declarations of allegiance and territory.

Leviticus 19:28: "Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD." The biblical prohibition is specifically connected to the dead — to rituals that involved marking the body as part of spirit-world practice. The context is covenantal identity: the marks declared whose you were.

The Demonic Deception

The secular framing of occult tattoos as "just art" or "a phase I was going through" is the deception. What the symbols were designed to represent and invoke does not change because the person who bears them has lost interest in the system they came from. The marking is still present. The spiritual declaration it represents is still active in the spirit realm.

The blood involved in tattooing creates a spiritual transaction. Skin is the boundary of the body — the interface between self and world. To permanently mark it with symbols dedicated to demonic systems is to make a lasting declaration about ownership and allegiance. That declaration was made in blood.

How It Opens the Door

The symbol retains its spiritual function regardless of the bearer's current beliefs. A person who received a pentagram tattoo during Wiccan involvement and has since come to faith still bears a spiritual declaration of allegiance to the entity that pentagram represents. The salvation is real. The unaddressed marking continues to provide legal ground.

Demonic attachment localizes around marked areas. The documented experience of deliverance ministers is that occult tattoos sometimes correlate with specific, localized patterns of oppression — physical problems, emotional patterns, or spiritual interference that cluster around the marked area and break when the marking is specifically addressed in prayer.

Children bear the spiritual effects of their parents' markings. This is speculative in terms of mechanism, but consistent with the documented experience of generational spiritual transmission.

What This Means for You Right Now

If you have occult tattoos — from a previous period of involvement, from cultural adoption of symbols whose meaning you did not fully understand, from a phase you have since left — the physical marking remains, but its spiritual legal claim can be completely revoked.

The action required: name the specific symbol and the spiritual system it came from. Repent for the marking. Renounce the allegiance it represented. Pray specifically over the marking, pleading the blood of Jesus Christ over it. Command every demonic entity associated with the symbol to leave.

The tattoo may remain physically. Its spiritual claim, once specifically renounced and covered by the blood of Christ, is revoked. You are not permanently marked for the enemy because you were foolish at nineteen. 1 Corinthians 6:11: "Such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified."

The body carries what is marked on it. The home carries what is placed in it. The next lesson examines the objects that anchor spiritual assignments to the spaces we live in.
