He was right that something was communicating. He was wrong about what it was.

The dead do not roam accessible dimensions. Hebrews 9:27: "It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment." One life. Death. Judgment. The dead are not in abandoned buildings at midnight responding to spirit box frequencies.

What investigators encounter are familiar spirits — demons that have observed people's lives and can impersonate them with sufficient accuracy to produce the experiences investigators are seeking. The EVP that sounds like your grandmother's voice is not your grandmother. It is a demon that knows what your grandmother's voice sounded like.

Leviticus 19:31: "Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them." The word defile is precise — this is not merely a moral prohibition, it is a description of what occurs spiritually when humans seek communication with these entities.

The deliberate seeking is the legal invitation. The investigator who enters a location with equipment designed to facilitate spirit communication has performed a voluntary act of spirit contact — identical in spiritual function to visiting a medium, with different hardware.

Entities follow investigators home. Every experienced deliverance minister who has worked with paranormal investigators reports the same phenomenon: entities encountered at investigation locations attach to investigators and accompany them home. The investigator who can no longer sleep, whose children are frightened, whose relationships are deteriorating — these are the typical post-investigation symptoms of carried demonic attachment.

Media amplification extends the exposure. Watching paranormal investigation programs opens the viewer to the same spiritual atmosphere operating through the screen. This is not about pixels. It is about sustained attention directed at demonic activity — which functions as an invitation regardless of the physical distance.

Each of these represents a degree of voluntary engagement with familiar spirits seeking communication. The degree of engagement corresponds roughly to the degree of spiritual exposure.

Repent for the seeking. Renounce every entity encountered or observed, whether in person or through a screen. If entities followed you home — if there have been disturbances in your home, disturbances in your sleep, or felt presences since engaging with this content — pray specifically for the cleansing of your home and the severing of every attachment.

And if you have children who watch these programs: the children in haunted homes are the most vulnerable targets for the spirits that investigators invite. What you allow through the screen enters the spiritual atmosphere of your house.
